When Be the One came out at the end of  January there’s no denying that i  had high hopes for the book and it’s content.  However now only five months later I’m truly humbled to see all that God has done!  Even as I type this the mini is packed again with all the car seats in check (breath easy mom’s) this van is loaded to the tilt. As the fam-fam and i are going to share the Be the One message.  I should be in bed right now but i can’t sleep because I’m overwhelmed at God’s favor!  He is so good, not because I’m good, or I deserve good things…because I don’t. Roman’s clearly says that All have fallen short of the glory of God. Yet, I have seen first hand when God puts something in you He will in his perfect timing allow it to come out!  Already we have seen many salvation’s and received feedback as young people are taking a stand to proclaim Christ. I also got the opportunity to film a thirty minute show on the TCT network and talk about the book. Plus, in the last few months I’ve been able to minister the Be the One  message in six different ministries and pastors are still calling.   As if that is not enough there are youth pastors who are starting to go through the
Be the One book with their students.  As you read this you might think that i’m bragging, but that’s not it at all. I’m blown away!  (if you only knew how many times i have to proofread everything i do….)  If anything I’m bragging on my God!  He is faithful to complete what He starts! I wasn’t going to post this but i believe there is someone who will read this and their dream will once again surge inside of them, as they choose to believe that GOD WILL!   Don’t you dare give up on the dream God has placed in your heart.  You will get married! That business will happen.  The financing that you need for college will be there! Don’t quit and don’t give up!   Thanks for taking the time to read this update.  I pray that you will be encouraged to DO the thing God has put in your heart!  BE THE ONE!  Let’s change the world!

We are supper excited to announce that Steven will be taking the “be the one” message on the road.  In fact in March 4-6, 2011 he and the LA Band will be going to 1st Baptist Church in Marion, Ar to hold a “be the one” weekend.  Please partner with Steven in prayer so God can move mightily in Marion! Hey everyone, after a year and a half of work, my new book Be the One is finally here. Yes!!! Many have asked me, “Steven, what is the book about?” Honestly, there is so much in this book that it really can’t be defined by just one statement. However, if I had to it would be: “This generation has been beat down with thoughts of inadequacy for far too long.  God is ready to awaken a generation of difference makers.  Be the One is for those who will dare to partner with God and not allow excuses, failure, or hurt to stop them from changing their culture.” In my spirit I know God is going to do great things with this book.  I would love you to partner with me in inciting these young people to step up and be the one. You can do this by spreading the word about the book. Here are a few ideas:

3. Tell others in your circle of influence about the book
4. Re-post videos about Be the One on your Facebook.
5. Go through this book with a group, youth group, life group, etc.(This is a great discipleship product)
6. Talk to your Pastors, youth leaders, FCA and FCS leaders, ect. Let’s set up a phone meeting with your pastor and myself. (I have a burden to instill the message of being the one God has called this generation to be.)
7. Pray for open doors for this book.

In a world of many choices and not enough time, it is very easy to put God on the back burner.   It’s mind-blowing that some believers settle for a life of intention rather than one of commitment. This must change.  God has so much more for his people!

Tomorrow 12/15/10, I will be receiving my first copy of “Be the One.” This book will birth a desire to partner with God to see great things happen in our families, schools, communities and nation. “Be the One,” is challenging, encouraging, practical, easy to read, and convicting. The reason for posting this article is; I need your help.  I want to get this book into as many hands as possible.  Why?  Because it is time to awaken the remarkable potential that lies inside every believer.  Help me get the word out about “Be the One”! Talk to your friends, youth pastors, pastors, parents, FCA’s, FCS, YoungLife groups, K life groups, small groups. In a couple weeks, I will have the cover ready for all who want to post it on their social media sites.  Start writing about it on your statuses so the awareness of what God is about to do can come into focus.  Let’s change the world together.  You can make a difference!! I know you are busy, but what if…by your faithfulness God started a movement in hearts and minds all over the world.  Change is coming and I’m asking you to be a part of it.  I need your help!
